Binance Exchange has revealed that it will be listing zkSync (ZK) trading pairs alongside a distribution program. The distribution program is specifically designed to respond to the community’s concerns, an effort to ease tension from the previous distributions.
zkSync (ZK) Token Trading Pairs Unveiled on Binance
The proposed launch of zkSync will have a couple of fresh trading pairs which include ZK/BTC, ZK/USDT, ZK/FDUSD, and ZK/TRY. These trading pairs will enhance Binance’s range of supported cryptocurrencies. Users can now deposit ZK tokens to get ready for trading, which will kick off today. Withdrawals of ZK will be possible starting June 18, 2024, at 8:00 AM UTC.
Alongside the ZK trading pair listing, the exchange also revealed a giveaway initiative to address community concerns regarding the ZK airdrop. The program aims to distribute 10.5 million ZK tokens to approximately 52,500 users. Users can claim ZK tokens by depositing 0.02 Ethereum (ETH) from an approved zkSync Era address to Binance.
Each successful claim will receive 200 ZK tokens, regardless of the deposit amount. This distribution operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
This news follows the recently released Shiba Inu trading for Binance traders in Thailand. This listing came shortly after the exchange hit 200 million users globally.
Criteria and Eligibility Guidelines
This listing underscores Binance’s commitment to granting users access to emerging blockchain platforms and their respective tokens.
To be eligible, participants must have completed a minimum of 50 transactions on the ZKSync Era network from the address between February 2023 and March 2024.
These transactions should be spread across seven different months within this timeframe and should not include self-transfers.
In addition, addresses that have received tokens from the official ZK Nation airdrop and have a contract with CEX, or bridge addresses are not eligible and will be disqualified to trade these tokens. This criteria is to ensure fairness and prevent double-dipping in ZK distributions.
